The challenge

The company identified performance gaps within some of their teams which resulted in poor overall performance and conflicts between senior management and their department managers. The company wanted to address the underperformance, take critical steps to close these gaps and additionally, explore strategies for reducing internal conflicts within the company.

The solution

The HR Manager approached BridgeGaps BV to bridge the performance gaps and to hold objective intervention sessions. Leadership assessments were conducted to determine the leadership level of each senior manager. Based on the outcome, BridgeGaps held weekly coaching sessions with individuals.

The intervention meetings and the 1-1 coaching sessions led to specific action plans for each individual. Progress was made during the course of the year. One coworker was moved to another department as the working relationship was beyond repair. The approach of BridgeGaps BV was based on John Maxwell’s philosophy (www.johnmaxwell.com). The owner of BridgeGaps BV is certified by John Maxwell to use his material.
