Founder Simone de Brabander

Simone de Brabander, born and raised in Curaçao, founded BridgeGaps in 2008. She has a 25 year track record in Market Research, Marketing Communications, Public Relations and Customer Service. Prior to her entrepreneurship, Simone de Brabander worked in these areas for a range of companies.

At ABN AMRO Bank (1999-2001) she was the Senior Communications Manager where she was leading the internal and external communication surrounding the acquisition of ABN AMRO Bank by RBTT Bank throughout the Dutch Caribbean (Curaçao, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Aruba, Suriname, Saba and St. Eustatius). 

Simone received a personal letter of ‘outstanding performance’ from the Regional Director of ABN Amro at that time, Mr. H. Advocaat.  

At RBTT (2001-2008) she led the Marketing and Communications departments in the Dutch Caribbean Region (Curaçao, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Aruba and Suriname) as the Senior Manager Marketing, Customer Service and Communications.

In 2011, Simone joined the John Maxwell Team as a founding member (www.johnmaxwell.com). This entails that she is certified to teach his material on Communications, Influence, and Leadership.

Prior to her career in Curaçao, she worked in the Netherlands, mainly in sales and management positions. Other than enjoying entrepreneurship, Simone likes traveling whenever the opportunity arises.
